When it is necessary to have a sidearm tethered, Gear Keeper allows you a streamlined profile to eliminate snagging when you exit or enter any type of vehicle. It ensures that if you drop your weapon, that it is still attached and secure. This keeper was developed with S.W.A.T. and military personal. It does not retract your weapon, but will prevent loss. If your tether does snag something, there is a defined breakpoint so that you are not slowed down. Nylon coated, stainless steel cable, springs and hardware, make this very durable and reliable. It can withstand up to 60lbs before breaking.
