The CPGear Nurses Bag was designed from the ground up by Health Care Nurses that required a good rugged Carry Bag to carry all essential supplies. The original spec's were that it had to be washable, lightweight, extremely durable and have the ability to keep supplies safe and separated. This Nurses Bag is used by a variety of Nursing units across Canada including the Extra Mural program here in New Brunswick. In fact, the same bags purchased back in 1985 are still in operation today. Our Nurse Bags are also used by VON Canada (Victorian Order of Nurses), Comcare Nurses, Victoria Order of Nurses as well as numerous Nursing units in Alberta and British Columbia regions.

Features of this bag are:

1. Padded sides to protect content
2. Special sized pocket on outside to hold the Kendall #8906 sharps container
3. Special zippered pocket on front to hold small bottle of antiseptic and wipes for the purpose of cleaning the bag prior to opening. This gives you the ability to clean the bottom of the bag, your hands etc. before actually opening the bag to it's contents. Some organizations now have this as part of their standard operating procedures.
4. Special pocket on outside to hold blood container kit, needles, vacutainers etc.
5. Large pocket on one side to hold paperwork, files and documents.
6. Fully adjustable and padded shoulder strap with anti-grip rubber under pad to grip shoulder. Strap will not slip off your should very easily.
7. Vinyl coated and reinforced bottom. Purpose being that the bottom of the bag, which can get the most soiled during use, can be wiped very easily before going into clients house. Bottom of bag is double reinforced.
8. ID holder on outside for easy access to Bag number or owners details

10. Made from highly abrasion resistant Cordura Nylon 1000d (domestically supplied), webbing handles and all narrow fabrics are made from nylon not polyester or polypropelene. 11. Numerous pockets and separators on the inside made from extremely durable nylon mesh with velcro closures. This gives the ability to keep supplies separated, organized and visible.
12. Cell phone pocket on outside. Pocket is large enough to hold any sized cell phone and is made from mesh enabling it to be heard easily.

The CPGear Blood Kit is designed to hold numerous vials, needles, vacutainers etc. in a safe padded case which can then be stored in the Blood Kit pocket on the outside of the Nurses Bag. The Blood Kit costs $30.00

Optional Nurses Bag Insert (sold separately)
This Nurses Bag comes with an optional insert that allows the Nurse to add an extra "page" to the inside of the Nurses Bag. The insert velcroes in and is attached to the bottom of the bag. It acts similar to a page in a book adding the ability to further separate and organize your equipment. The insert costs $30.00
