What is a Cobber?
The neck wrap (also sold as The Neck Buddy) is made of polyester and cotton and is filled with poly-crystals. By simply placing the neck wrap in clean water for approximately 30 minutes and allowing the crystals to expand, it produces an evaporative cooling system for the user when placed around the neck.
The Cobber Body Cooling Neck Wrap lowers the body temperature by cooling the carotid arteries in the neck. The material may become warm against the skin but by simply rotating the wrap, the cooling effect is rejuvenated immediately!

Instructions
How does the Cobber work to keep you cool? - When placed around the neck, the Cobber lowers body temperature by cooling the carotid arteries in the neck. The continuous moisture from the Cobber surrounding the warmth of the neck allows evaporation to take place thus acting as a cooling system. You only need to rotate the outside edge towards the neck to maximize evaporative cooling.
How to care for your Cobber? - Directions to activate as a neck wrap. Soak entire wrap in clean water for a total of 30 minutes. After approximately 15 minutes crystals will begin to absorb the water and feel like a gel. There will be l ess stress on the seams if you distribute the gel evenly throughout the wrap. Submerge the Cobber again for the remaining 15 minutes.
Do not leave Cobber in water for longer periods than suggested above. Excessive hydration may put a strain on the seams.
To activate as a headband. Soak entire wrap in clean water for 20-30 minutes.
To use as an icepack. Activate in the same way as above then place in the freezer for up to 30 minutes before use.
To use as a hotpack. Activate as above then microwave for up to 30 seconds. Test first to make sure the Cobber is not too hot. Now you have a hot Cobber!
To re-activate after storage - simply immerse in water for 30 minutes. Crystals will re-hydrate for years.
